“Some friends don’t understand this. They don’t understand how desperate I am to...”
– Elizabeth Wurtzel. This is what Maurice showed me that God does: loves me perfectly, just the way I am. And He loves you, too.

I lost someone unspeakably dear to me yesterday, completely unexpectedly. I’m still trying to process, but he was a man of such pure, unconditional, heart-melting, life-giving love. God, I ache to think he’s not here physically any more. It’s hard to wrap my mind around and hard to breathe steadily when I do. But I loved him, I loved him so much, and I still do. I’m filled...

I wouldn't be having this problem if I'd gone to...
So it's 1: 21 am, and I'm lying here listening to beautiful music and trying to figure out which Hogwarts house I'd be sorted into.
I've generally gone between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. I'm definitely not a Sytherin; I am the antithesis of a Slytherin. But now I'm sort of going between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, and even leaning towards Ravenclaw.
I'm a cerebral person, and that's a sizable part of my identity, but it's not the core. On quizzes I'm usually an pretty even split between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I think I score high on Hufflepuff because quizzes seem to equate fairness and with kindness. If I had to be defined by one core character quality, it would probably be compassion, but if you read what Hufflepuff's all about, I don't think compassion is at the heart. I am so about being egalitarian though, so go Hufflepuff on that!
But I thought about which common room I'd be the most comfortable in, and I think it's Ravenclaw: the blue and silver, the stars painted on the ceiling, the view of the mountains... I'm also a creative type, and that's valued in Ravenclaws.
These are the real-life problems that deserve my time and attention, guys.
... But seriously if you have any input, feel free to offer it.
